Kim Rodgers of Bark Pet Photography is a Los Angeles based photographer with an underlying mission of giving back to local animal rescue organizations through pro-bone-o photography sessions and various fundraising efforts.

Kim's images are described as modern, bold, and graphic - a style influenced by her years of working as a graphic designer. Bark Pet Photography's work has been seen in PEOPLEPets.com, LAist.com, TMZ, PEOPLE Style Watch Magazine, and Dogs Today Magazine. Kim resides with three chihuahua-big-mouths, Kali, Piko, and Sammy.

Sarah Grooters has worked in the TV news business as both a writer and producer at stations all over California, including CBS, NBC and currently KTLA in Los Angeles. While she loves the news, she is passionate about volunteering. Grooters is a volunteer for the Los Angeles Animal Services Department, and enjoys raising support for the department, as well as for the homeless at Skid Row.

In 2009, she spent four months promoting volunteerism in SE Asia. While there, she fundraised and created videos/promotional material for low-income kids and abused animals, including a starving stray she named Saparot ("pineapple" in Thai), who returned to California with her. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her rescue dog, Susie.

Pat Perdue is retired from a career in Education. With a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, Perdue spent years in the classroom. She has been a life long owner of animals and has supported animal welfare her entire life. Perdue is a proud mother of two children, and currently lives with her dog, "Precious Little Angel."

Melanie Ramsayer is a successful business woman and has been an agent in the entertainment industry for 15 years. Originally from Canton, Ohio, Ramsayer attended UCLA earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Having been employed by The Gersh Agency for the last 18 years, Ramsayer represents directors and producers, along with other technical talent like editors and Academy Award winning cinematographers, in film and television.

A life long animal lover, Ramsayer has been rescuing animals since she was a child. She is currently President of the Los Angeles Animal Services Commission, and lives with five rescued pets.

Lu Parker is a true multi-faceted talent. She is an animal welfare advocate, actress, author, former Miss USA, and a former teacher. As an Emmy Award winning journalist, you can find her anchoring and reporting the news in Los Angeles on KTLA. As a journalist, Lu is responsible for delivering the latest in Los Angeles each weeknight. While in the field she writes all of her content, often under deadline. Lu also works intensely advocating for animal rescue. You can read her blogs and tweets that often touch on the issues of the importance of helping homeless animals. Her dog, Monkey, a rescue from the South Los Angeles Animal Shelter is a source of inspiration. Lu earned a Masters Degree in Education, and taught high school English in South Carolina. While there, she created an activist group for her students called H.A.T.S. (Helping All Teens Survive), a group focused on improving conditions in their low-income community. She lives with her dog Monkey and her cat Boogie.
